The management of the company is aware that a great many things have been said to you, from time to time, about the company; most of which was intended to prejudice your minds, and to make you think the company is your enemy. The company will now say something to you for itself—and about itself. It will not be much, but it will be the truth, and that is something you have not always heard.

In the first place, the company, through its management, will begin by wishing you all a happy and prosperous New Year. Notwithstanding anything you may have heard to the contrary, the company wishes well to all its employees and is anxious to see them happy and prosperous. The management believes a feeling of loyalty and goodwill should exist between the company and its employees, and it knows of no reason why such a feeling should not exist. (more…)
