Work was recently finished on the remodeled coal bunkers and cleaning plant at Newcastle. This plant will take care of the tonnage from the Primrose Tunnel, which is now rapidly coming into quantity production. The picture was taken from the high trestle crossing Coal Creek, looking toward the west.
Trip rider
Ashley Holden, young son of the editor, visited Newcastle recently with his parents. He found the mine much to his liking, particularly the mine motors and coal trips. The picture is evidence also of the increasing output from the Primrose Tunnel.
