New Pacific Coast Coal Co logo - 1927Notwithstanding interruptions in operations caused by unseasonable weather, production of coal at our mines last week exceeded that of any week since work was resumed with new employees.

On another page is printed the usual table of average tonnages obtained at the mines, but the figures do not show actual records established on various days at these camps.

For example, on Wednesday, last, the total hoist at the mines for that day aggregated 1,839 tons, or 96 tons more than on any previous day since the mines were re-opened. (more…)
