The Black Diamond Cornet Band of 1888.

Pictured above is the Black Diamond Cornet Band of 1888. This band furnished the music for 4th of July celebrations and events of the day. Old-timers in the Black Diamond community today are able to identify most of the men shown. However, some names are now unknown.
