New Pacific Coast Coal Co logo - 1927The employees of the Pacific Coast Coal Company, in no way involved in the labor disputes affecting other mining regions, made a new tonnage record last month.

During the month of March, the mines of the Pacific Coast Coal Company produced 61,687 tons of coal. This was a gain of 16,287 tons over February, which, however, was a short month. Compared with the 585 tons mined in August, when operations were resumed, last month’s total, although still considerably short of normal, becomes still more impressive. (more…)
