Black Diamond is in a ferment

How should bunting be hung, with the blue on top or the red on top?

That is a novel question which has so puzzled several estimable citizens of Black Diamond that of late they have formed a club to consider it. So deeply has the matter vexed them that they are unable to sleep of nights. They have spots before the eyes, general dizziness in the back, and a full feeling after eating.

They have, in a communication to The Times, laid all the facts open to the world and pray for enlightenment in order that dissention may be banished and peace again reign in the coal metropolis. (more…)
