Lewis McFarland, Coal Miners Honor Garden.

Coroner Willis H. Corson yesterday held inquests into the deaths of three workmen who last week were killed in King County coal mines.

The unfortunate miners were Lewis McFarland of Seattle, killed by coming in contact with a live trolley wire in the Newcastle mine, and W.R. Kirkpatrick and Steve Sepotz, killed by falling toprock in the Black Diamond mine. (more…)
