For Leih Mulvihill, the city of Black Diamond holds a special place in her heart—it’s always felt like home, and she can’t believe there’s any better place to live.

Because of that love for her town, and what she has done to make it better for everyone who lives there, Mulvihill was named the 2004 Citizen of the Year, announced at the Black Diamond Labor Day celebration. She was nominated by both her daughter Alicia and an anonymous person. (more…)
