The knockout blow delivered to an aircraft factory in Germany early this year is described as his biggest thrill in combat by Lt. Walker L. Gibson, 23, Liberator bombardier from Black Diamond, who is a veteran of 50 combat missions.
“My biggest kick,” as Lieutenant Gibson puts it, “was the day I was in the lead ship on that raid over Regensburg.”
