She left us memories, as we all will with everyone whose lives we touch.
She left us objects as tangible gifts of her talent and passions, as a reminder of the joy she gave to others.
She was Miss Lela I. Chapman, Maple Valley post mistress, and later Maple Valley postal clerk, with her cousin, post mistress Elsie J. Trana.
She was a teacher, artist, shortwave radio listener, collected histories of Maple Valley pioneers, and so much more. (more…)
