Under new owner, Black Diamond Bakery adds a twist but stays true to its history

Moon Bang, who loves being able to “eat warm bread” every morning, says she wants to preserve the relaxed atmosphere that has helped make Black Diamond Bakery and Deli a hit with customers. (Charles Cortes, Reporter)
Black Diamond Bakery and Deli has a new owner, but longtime customers needn’t worry about any major changes in the way the bakery operates.
“Our goal is to preserve and maintain the history” of the near-legendary business, said Terry Suzuki, who is acting as general manager for the baker’s new owner—his sister, Moon Bang. (more…)
