A.C. Gunn, prominent Seattle businessman, finds five veins in Enumclaw country after short search
Working on a “hunch” which he obtained from studying the map of King County, and prospecting for four weeks over territory three miles northeast of Enumclaw to discover whether his theory was practicable or not, A.C. Gunn, a businessman of this city with offices in the Burke Building, and president of the Washington Steel & Bolt Company, today announced that he had located five veins of coal in the midst of the Enumclaw coal country with which he will not part today for $500,000.
